The fi-8040 comes with the new DirectScan function that opens businesses to new options to meet real-world productivity. Compact and equipped with a user-friendly 4.3-inch touch screen, the fi-8040 reliably scans A4 portraits at 40 ppm/80 ipm (200/300 dpi), enables PC-less scansand attaches the scans to emails directly. It also saves scanned data directly to network folders by setting destination storage locations in advance. The setting can be done easily with a web browser for a single unit or withthe new "Scanner Central Admin Desktop" software for multiple units.
